Has there ever been a Master's 1000 tournament on grass and if not, why not? I'm pretty sure there hasn't been, and I find it kind of lacklustre that there's only about 5 grass tournaments throughout the entire year when the Hard and Clay seasons are so much longer.
I'd like to create some discussion for this. The potential pros and cons of a longer Grass court season and which players would definitely improve from this.
With the talk of how slow surfaces are nowadays, did there used to be more Grass tournaments back in the day?.
