In this topic you will find all the news and new/modified rules for 2019 season!
Since we faced many technical difficulties, the new stuff will mainly impact the 2019 Schedule.
1. 125K Tournaments
Since many 125Ks in the late part of the season have been played by not more than 4 players we decided to delete the second 125K per week.
We are sure that with a smart scheduling there won't be problems and every player will have the chance to play in at least the Q draws every week.
2. 125K during Slams
Following the WTA calendar more closely we have added a 125K every second week of a Slam and in the second week of Indian Wells and Miami.
We have also added all the 125Ks played by the official WTA Calendar (exception for 125K Indian Wells).
3. Tournament cancelation
We have decided that the least number of players signed up for a WTA tournament in order of it to be played is EIGHT.
(It remains at 4 for the ITFs)
4. Deadline for Entry Lists
We have deleted the "late subscribers" option and moved to Friday at 12 CET the official and lone deadline for the Entry Lists (exception made for few weeks during the year).
5. Vice-Captain
A new role has been added, the vice captain will substitute the leader in case of absence or withdrawal of the captain.
6. Few Clarifications
- If a player forgets to send his schedona, the player, even if not replaced by a LL, has no chance to win his round (exception made if his opponent is in the game exact situation).
- In the double competition, if one of the four player forgets to send, the pair he is part of automatically lose the tie (exception made if the same happens to the other pair).
- In Fed Cup in case of a Nation w/o, only the nations is awarded with FedCup ranking points, its members are not.
- In Zhuhai Master, in case of a tie in the single match,incluede number of winners and tiebreak matches, the ranking position will count more than the points made during the RR matches.In questo topic troverete tutte le news e le regole nuove/modificate per la stagione 2019!
1. Tornei 125K
Visto che, soprattutto nell'ultima parte della scorsa stagione, alcuni 125K sono stati spesso giocati da solo 4 giocatori, abbiamo deciso di eliminare il secondo 125K che si disputa settimanalmente.
Siamo sicuri che con una scelta coscienziosa dell'iscrizione ai tornei non ci saranno problemi e che tutti riusciranno ogni settimana a giocare almeno le qualificazioni di un WTA.
2. 125K durante gli Slams
Seguendo più accuratamente il calendario WTA abbiamo aggiunto per ogni seconda settimana degli slam e anche di Indian Wells e Miami un torneo 125K.
Abbiamo inoltre aggiunto e/o modificato la sede di alcuni 125K affidandoci al calendario ufficiale WTA (ad eccezione del 125K di IW).
3. Cancellazione tornei
Abbiamo deciso che il numero minimo di iscritti per far si che un torneo WTA venga giocato è di OTTO.
(Rimane a 4 per gli ITF)
4. Deadline per le Entry Lists
Abbiamo eliminato la figura degli "iscritti ritardatari" e abbiamo perciò spostato la scadenza ufficiale per le iscrizioni alle Entry Lists a Venerdì ore 12 CET (saranno fatte poche eccezioni durante l'anno quando obbligati).
5. Vice-Capitano
Un nuovo è stato aggiunto, ovvero quello del Vice Capitano che si andrà a sostituire al capitano delle nazioni in caso di assenza o rinuncia del ruolo da parte di quest'ultimo.
6. Precisazioni
- Se un giocatore si dimentica di inviare una schedona, anche se non rimpiazzato da un LL, il giocatore ha automaticamente perso (eccezione fatta se il suo avversario si trova nella stessa situazione).
- In doppio, se uno dei quattro giocatori non invia, la coppia di cui fa parte perde di diritto (eccezione fatta se lo stesso accade all'altra coppia)
- In Fed Cup, se una nazione vince per w/o, solo alla nazione saranno dati i punti vittoria nel ranking di Fed Cup, i suoi membri non ricevono invece punti.
- Nel Master di Zhuahi, in caso di parità in una singola sfida, compreso nel numero vincitrici e match di spareggio, avrà la precedenza il ranking rispetto ai punti accumulati nei turni precedenti.
