Tennisticamente non mi entusiasma,ma ammiro molto la sua grinta e la sua grande mentalità.
Mi piace molto come persona perchè interpreta il Tennis con un sorriso e non è da tutte,dato che molte hanno sempre il viso incazzato

Senza dubbio una buona giocatrice, grande temperamento e buona presenza in campo anche se capitano spesso pause all'interno dello stesso match. Buona giocatrice da ritmo, non ha nelle variazioni la sua forza, anzi proprio dinanzi alle vaziazioni ha il suo punto debole. Ama colpire la palla all'altezza dell'anca o del fianco va in crisi sulle palle alte e su quelle basse soprattutto se senza peso, altro punto debole è la scarsa intelligenza tattica... le capita spesso nei momenti di crisi di provare a colpire più forte inutilmente o prendere rischi assurdi invece di analizzare l'avversaria e scardinarne le certezze puntando sulle difficicoltà. . -

cmq io penso che la petkovic debba crescere ancora parecchio dal punto di vista tennistico ma (e sicuramente sto per dire la boiata dell'anno appena al 10°giorno) penso possa avere la mentalità vincente che manca a tante big attuali.. -

Petkovic, the 10th seed, said in a statement from the Women's Tennis Association, that she had been having back problems for two-three months.
"I’ve been struggling with it, but I’ve always believed it was going to be fine and so I pushed through the pain.," she said.
"The last two weeks in Australia I’ve been having bigger problems; I could only play for 30-45 minutes without pain. After yesterday’s match against Agnieszka (Sydney) I decided to have an MRI and a CT and the results showed a stress fracture in my lower back. The only thing I can do right now is rest – not walking or sitting a lot – just lying down and hoping that the bone will heal as fast as possible.
"The doctors have said it will likely take me 6-8 weeks to recover. I’m positive this is going to be fine; I just need to take the time off to get better. With this type of injury I’d rather take an additional week off, than start back a day early, and I need to be patient.
"I’m really disappointed because I love Australia. It’s funny, I actually tore my ACL here, but on the other hand I also made my first ever Grand Slam quarterfinal here (2011). So either it’s a big high or a big low! I am so sorry that I won’t be seeing my fans in Melbourne, because I love the Australians and feel like we have a great connection.
"I’m going to head back to Germany tonight because I want to have some more tests with my doctors and be close to my family. I’m already looking forward to coming back to Australia next year."

probabilmente salterà tutta la prima metà dell'anno, pare non ci siano stati miglioramenti in questo mese e mezzo, infortunio simile a quello della safina e della szavay...speriamo solo non sia a rischio la carriera...lei è stata anche stupida a giocarci su... . -

Non dico che se l'è meritato, assolutamente, ma poteva tranquillamente evitare tutto ciò.
